TB+A bring a whole life approach to their clients, providing advice and support with the design, planning, construction, operation and ongoing management of their property and assets, underpinned by an exemplary Integrated Management System achieving quality and consistency.

Sustainability is at the heart of the business as they make stronger commitments and take action to be at the forefront of climate leadership through their work with the UK-GBC, CCCA and World Green Building Council.

Issues / Challenges

In keeping with their values, ethos and operational high standards around sustainability and working environment, TB+A implemented a network of Air Quality sensors across their 8 offices. Due to the data only being available via the hardware supplier portal, it was not easily accessed and actively being used by the staff as had been intended.


To create an automation that would enable staff to have up-to-date and easy access to this important data.


Simoda created an intelligent automation in Power Automate that:

  • Required no operational or staff time

  • Could regularly access the client portal via an available API and create a Power BI report to visualise the data

  • Was made available on the front page of the companies SharePoint based intranet

  • Provided a mechanism for reporting for internal and external stakeholders
