Last week, Simoda's MD Daniel Bumby and Technology Solutions Director, Lee Wragg had the privilege of attending HPE Discover 2025 in Las Vegas, hosted at the iconic Venetian hotel & conference centre on the Vegas Strip. An energising few days packed with bold ideas, hands-on innovation, and a shared vision for the future of enterprise tech. From inspiring conversations to standout demos and a first look at HPE’s refreshed brand identity it was clear: the ambition in the room was as big as the venue.

🔗 Building Strategic Partnerships
One of the most impactful aspects of Discover was the opportunity to sit down with our key vendors and technology partners. These weren’t just product deep-dives, they were strategic conversations about how we co-create the future.
Every dialogue centred on a shared mission: how simoda can better align our roadmap with the evolving challenges and ambitions of our customers. It’s partnerships like these that bring one of our core mantras to life, Turning Possibilities into Realities.
🤝 HPE: A Partnership Built on Shared Vision
Simoda's partnership with HPE continues to go from strength to strength and not just because Las Vegas knows how to host a good time. At Simoda, our mission is to Simplify, Modernise, and Accelerate your business success. HPE’s unwavering focus on hybrid cloud, AI, and network innovation through the GreenLake platform mirrors that ambition perfectly.
From deploying AI at the edge to managing complex hybrid environments and safeguarding data sovereignty, HPE’s ecosystem gives us the agility, intelligence, and performance to deliver on our promises.
With the introduction of GreenLake Intelligence, HPE is redefining what’s possible, embedding agentic AI across the full IT stack to proactively resolve issues, optimise infrastructure, and empower digital co-workers. That’s not just alignment, it’s acceleration.

🎯 Delivering AI with Purpose
AI isn’t just on the horizon, it’s already reshaping how businesses operate. At HPE Discover, we had the opportunity to share our strategic approach to AI delivery, and it reaffirmed something we’ve long believed: AI must be purposeful, not performative.
At Simoda, we’re not just deploying models, we’re guiding our customers through the full AI lifecycle:
Identifying high-impact use cases
Selecting and training the right models
Managing outcomes with transparency and accountability
Our focus is clear: value, trust, and long-term impact. Whether it’s through HPE’s Private Cloud AI, GreenLake Intelligence, or our own advisory services, we’re helping organisations move from AI ambition to AI action responsibly and at scale.

🎤 Keynote at the Sphere: Ambition Meets Acceleration
Wow indeed. One of the defining moments of HPE Discover 2025 was HPE CEO, Antonio Neri’s keynote at the Las Vegas Sphere, a venue as bold as the message it carried. His words captured the spirit of the week:
“Ambition is the defining element of human innovation… AI is now making your ambitions a reality faster than ever before.”
That sentiment couldn’t align more closely with our own mantra at Simoda: Turning Possibilities into Realities.
🤖 Enter GreenLake Intelligence: AI That Works Like You Do
What was truly exciting was the unveiling of GreenLake Intelligence (GLI), HPE’s agentic AI framework that’s set to redefine how IT is managed.
GLI introduces a mesh of intelligent AI agents trained on trillions of data points from HPE’s telemetry and support systems. These agents don’t just observe, they reason, act, and collaborate across the full IT stack to:
Proactively resolve issues before they impact performance
Optimise infrastructure in real time
Serve as digital co-workers, embedded across compute, storage, networking, and cloud
This isn’t automation, it’s autonomous intelligence, and it mirrors exactly where we’re headed at Simoda.
The idea of a digital workforce of AI admins isn’t just futuristic, it’s foundational to how us at simoda see the future of IT operations. GLI’s ability to deliver contextual, explainable, and proactive outcomes reinforces the deep alignment between our roadmap and HPE’s direction.

🧵 Big Carpet Thinking
in the whirlwind of HPE Discover, finding a moment of calm was no easy feat, unless you stumbled upon what we affectionately dubbed the “big carpet.”
Tucked away, this unassuming patch of hotel floor, complete with a few sofas and a well worn rug became the impromptu strategy suite. Amid the buzz of innovation and conversation, it become the breathing room to pause, reflect, and let the ideas settle.
As Dan and Lee called it Big Carpet Thinking (BCT), What started as a quiet moment quickly turned into one of the most productive sessions of the week. mapping out key takeaways, challenged assumptions, and began shaping something simoda are genuinely excited to bring to market.
Sometimes, all it takes is a bit of space (and a surprisingly comfy rug) to turn inspiration into action.

🔭 Looking Ahead and Building the Future
HPE Discover 2025 was more than a showcase of technology, it was a powerful reminder that we’re not just delivering products and services. At Simoda, we’re co-architecting the future with our customers and partners, one bold step at a time.
The event reaffirmed what we’ve always believed: innovation thrives in ecosystems built on shared values, mutual trust, and a relentless drive to simplify, modernise, and accelerate.
To everyone Dan and Lee connected with in Las Vegas, thank you. Your insights, energy, and ambition fuel what simoda do.
The future of AI isn’t just bright t’s collaborative, purposeful, and already in motion.
Simoda, we’re just getting started.
